Florida Septic Services
If you have a septic tank, you need to take care of your septic tank and drainfield to save money. You should not flush non-biodegradable items down the toilet. These items include but are not limited to condoms, ear swabs, dental floss, detergents, bleach and grease.
A septic system, sometimes referred to as "an onsite wastewater treatment system", and disposal system includes a watertight septic tank, which takes in wastewater from plumbing. The tank is followed by an underground drain field made up of a distribution network of pipes or chambers with holes in it. The drain field receives partially treated wastewater from the septic tank and distributes it into the soil for final treatment and disposal.
The septic tank is buried, typically made of concrete, fiberglass, or polyethylene. It holds the wastewater long enough to allow solids to settle out (forming sludge) and oil and grease to float to the surface as scum. Compartments in the septic tank prevent the sludge and scum from leaving and entering the drain field area.
A septic tank can deteriorate over time and may need to be replaced. Existing tanks that are replaced are referred to as repairs at the Department of Health. The same applies to a drain field if it is to be replaced.
If the drain field is overloaded with too much liquid, it will flood, causing sewage to flow to the ground surface or create backups in the plumbing fixtures and prevent treatment of all wastewaters and the septic tank not to drain.
TBP provides the most reliable and professional septic service in Hillsborough county. We promise to send a first class technician to handle your septic problems correctly. Tampa Bay Plumbers can also assist in obtaining repair permits through the Environmental Services division of the health department. Once the permit is in hand we submit it along with a detailed proposal to our customers. We never “ball-park” our contracts, so our customers always know what they are going to be spending.
Over the years we have discovered many of our customers who think they have a failing drain field in fact do not. The average drain field lasts about 25 years in Florida and many factors contribute to the life expectancy, such as quality of installation, type of material used, soil quality, and proximity to the water table. The water table can change, especially when developers move in and change the surrounding area.
We offer a product that has been successful 100% of the time when the field is not in the water table. This product is an alternative to drain field replacement as shown below. Drain field replacement can be a very expensive endeavor, and should not be performed without consulting with our septic specialist, Brad Kalis. In many cases there are problems with the outlet end of the tank that can be addressed without applying for a repair permit. We can save you thousands of $$$...so long as the system is not in the water table.

At Renewaline Pipelining we are septic tank professionals in Florida that can help maintain, service, and repair any septic tank problems you may be having.
