Video Sewer Line Inspections in Florida
Many of the countless pipes beneath our homes and streets are very old. Though very durable, typically made of cast iron or terra cotta--these structures are not invulnerable to disruption caused by exterior sources. Roots, for instance, commonly cause clogs which require professional sewer line cleaning. Though it may seem striking that such vegetation has the strength to pry into the joins between two pipe segments, this phenomena happens often. The treatment of this problem can begin with a professional Florida pipelining team using a video inspection device to locate the obstruction and determine how to clear it.
This type of process involves using a special robot-like video device which is pulled along the pipe with a cord or driven with a small tractor. With the help of these devices, the nature of a clog can be determined, and cleaning method applied.
We encourage your to review our videos (YouTube)
- Before 1 (this video was of a broken cast iron drain line after jetting. We are in the final preparations to line the pipe. This was the line every other company said could not be lined)
- Before 2 (this video is the other side of the same sewer line in the above example)
- After(this video shows the final product of the severely damaged line above. By lining the customer saved nearly $12,000.00 off of the repair costs and did not have to move any tenets. Total estimated savings: $25,000.00)
- Discovery of cracked and broken stacks (this video was of a broken cast iron drain line after jetting. We are in the final preparations to line the pipe. This was the line every other company said could not be lined)
- Jane Alfriend 2 (this video was taken after the line had been cabled with a Spartan 300 machine. You can see why jetting is by far superior to using a standard cable machine. There is no comparison.)
- Jane Alfriend 3 (this video shows the same residential customer as above with a rotted out cast iron pipe. This video was taken during the pipe preparation process. Notice the cracks along the bottom of the material)
- Jane Alfriend 1 (this video shows the above residential customer after the liner was installed.)
